Mental preparation

You should also prepare yourself mentally for your time as a volunteer.

Get to know your host country and its culture. We provide you with a few tips on books and relevant blogs. Our on-site cultural program will also give you the opportunity to find your way around the country better.

It is also advisable that you prepare very specifically for your volunteer project. After all,

volunteering is the focus of

your stay and the local people rely on your support and you should feel comfortable too. It is best to deal with the topic in advance. What challenges could this work bring along and how can you deal with them? What can you do beforehand to prepare for your project? Perhaps read testimonials from former volunteers who have worked on a similar project.

You can also contact us at any time and ask all your questions.
