Tansania - Day Care Center Tuleane
The facility
Peter L. founded the daycare center in 2022 in a suburb of Arusha.
The house is in the middle of a residential area. Peter would like to offer children between the ages of 3 and 6 a place where they can experience initial education and play and learn in a protected environment while their parents earn a living. The children all come from poor families and so parents and children are very grateful to have a place here where the children can also get two meals.
During the time when the boys and girls go to preschool, Peter and our association "Together for Children of the World" try to find sponsors for the children who will enable them to attend a private school after preschool.
There are currently 35 children being cared for at the Tuleane Day Care Center and they look forward to your attention.
Here's how you can help
Experience everyday preschool life with the girls and boys. The options for help are diverse. In addition to supporting lessons and designing learning material, you can also teach the children new games, songs or dances.
You can also help with the preparation and distribution of meals.
Bring in your ideas. Be mindful, responsible and respectful of the local culture.
If you would like to bring something for the children, please contact us. We are always in contact with the daycare center and can tell you what is currently needed.
