Ethiopia
The culture of Ethiopia is as diverse as its people,
languages and landscapes.
The cultural program should give you the opportunity to arrive in peace and to orient yourself. Get used to the climate and get a first impression of the country and its people.
Your supervisor will bring you closer to his homeland with all his heart and a wealth of knowledge.
He will be happy to address your wishes, questions and needs. You will get to know the culture and the people in an intensive way that no "normal" tourist ever could.

Your program
After your arrival you take a walk in the surroundings of your aid project and get your first impressions. Among other things, you have the opportunity to buy a SIM card.
On another day you will visit Unity Park. It offers a good opportunity to learn something about the different ethnic groups in the country. You can also get to know the history of the country. In the park there is the possibility to experience a coffee ceremony, since Ethiopia is the country of origin of coffee.
"Injera" is the staple food of Ethiopians. You will have the opportunity to bake your own millet dough flatbread.
In addition to visiting the park, you will also get to know one of the large markets.
